Hello IHC Fans,
First I shall introduce myself, I‘m Dennis and i‘m from Holland. I have read a lot of threads on this forum and discoverd that there is a lot of knowlegde on this forum regarding the Agriomatic transmission.
Now on to my problem, i have a IHC 724AS. The engine was complety overhauled in the summer of ‘09. After 4 years i‘m starting to have a problem with my Agriomatic transmission. The problem is, when the transmission oil (IH Hytran) is cold the tractor wont drive in the field gear (acker gruppe). It will stand still and when i play with the throttle it will pick up, with a loud bang. When i operate my Agriomatic lever to the front of the tractor, it will begin to drive without any noises.
The things I have checked are:
- The level of the oil (oil age is +- 150 hours)
- Cleaning/removing all filters
Are there other things I can do to check my transmission?
