Hello. Washington state I am a new member from USA. A mechanic and avid IH IH tractor puller. I have a 1066 and a 666 diesel tractors that I compete with. I just finished restoring a 1939 Farmall M. One of my specialtys is Torque Amplifier repair on 706-1586 tractors. It is good to see IH fans in Germany also.

I am.posting and reading through a computer transalator. It works really good. I also have interest in Cadet 782 tractors. I have 2 of them. One I have owned since 1980 the other i bought 5 years ago. My origilal tractor is unmolested and stock. The newer one is repowered with a Honda V-2 18HP engine. I will post some photos of mt 1939 restored Farmall M as soon as I get back home.

Hi Gonzo,

my Cadet 782 comes to me in December 2008, A Friend of mine lives in Alamogordo/NM for 4 Years, at Nato Airbase for german Airforce. He purchased, the Cub, and picked it up for me.

My Cub is a later Model, with Cast Aluminium Transmission Housing and Front Axle in black Paint.
He have the later Kohler KT 17 Series 2 Engine, but he has a broken Rod, broken Piston, and a broken Cylinder, the Engine Halfs had no Damage, LUCK!!

Engine Hour Meter shows 3311 Hours on it.

The Cub was not in good Condition, yery dirty, broken Engine, damaged Bodyparts, loosen Parts

I rebuildt the Engine myself. He got new Rods, Crank Bearings(Undersize), Piston Rings, Gasket Set, Carb Kit, Condenser, Breaker Points, Fuel Pump, Hydro Filter, Air Filter, Sparks, Seat Cover, and a Set of new Tires, the specially Front 3 Rib Tires, are from "Miller Tires".

I also got some used Parts from US Ebay, Hood Hinge, Steering Wheel Center Cab, and Chrome Hub Cabs with IH Sign, Tie Rod Ends, Brochures from the 82 Series Cubs,

A used Cylinder, with Piston, Oil Pump, and some other small Engine Parts, i got from a Member of the "Only Cub Cadet" Forum.

The Crank is grinded 0.10 Undersize, Valve and Head Service is done, Carb and Ignition is overhault, the Cub starts, and runs like new.

Mower Deck is a "50 C", and last Year, the "Red Rocket" got a self made Sleeve Hitch, a 10 Inch Brinly Plow, and a self made Front Lift, with Snowblade.

If you want, send me a E-Mail, and i will send some Pics from it,
